The Mayor of the city, Mr. Said Daoud Mohamed, is overseeing and continuing the operations of the 3rd PHASE of wreck removal. Saturday, May 24, 2025 – Day 2 – Zero Waste: The technical team of the municipality is continuing the operations of the 3rd PHASE of vehicle removal, which was launched last Thursday by the Mayor of Djibouti City under the guidance of the Minister Delegate in charge of Decentralization. The operation took place this morning along Guelleh Batal Boulevard in the Boulaos district, where all abandoned vehicles were transported to the Nagad impound lot. The Mayor inspected the site to assess the progress and encouraged the municipal team in their meaningful efforts serving the public interest. On this occasion, the Mayor extended his thanks to the technical partners—the Association of Djiboutian Freight Forwarders, MTS company, and the National Gendarmerie—for their constant and unwavering civic support.
